About Us
Mission Statement
Our mission is to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment in our community and schools where every child, regardless of background—race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, body size, socioeconomic status, etc.—feels valued and supported. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we strive to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our community. By fostering understanding, celebrating differences, and empowering all families, we aim to create a culture of respect, empathy, and unity for the benefit of our children and the broader community.
Goals
→ Foster a culture of respect and belonging
→Promote, celebrate, and offer diversity and inclusion events
→ Support the well-being and success of children and families
→ Advocate for equity
By focusing on these goals, this group can actively contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive community and school environment for everyone, especially our children.
Events
We plan to meet monthly with our leadership team to discuss equity issues within our school community, receive updates on committee progress, and plan upcoming events. Some of the committee groups we are considering include Social Events, Educational Events, Book Clubs, and Administrative/District Groups.

→ LGBTQ+ and Racial Justice Events

→ Disability Awareness Activities
→ Book and Podcast Discussions
